The hustle and bustle of the holidays have given way to the chill -- and frozen pace -- of January. Perfect time of year to rejuvenate. Thanks to Pampered Mommas, one lucky Charm City mom is getting a worry-free snooze.

That's right. One randomly-selected mom is getting the much anticipated, uber appreciated, usually unlikely three letter word: NAP. And while she rests or reads or zens out (her choice!), her kids will be cared for by the trained mom staff from Pampered Mommas.

I don't know about you, but with the holidays around the corner I could REALLY use a break.

The house looked gorgeous on Monday morning, but by Thursday I felt like I needed a skid loader to dig out. Mail piling up on the counter (catalog inundation), dirt tracked in from muddy shoes and paws, a shedding Christmas Tree... and don't even get me started on the toys.

Feel that way too? Yeah. Thought you might.

We were all giggles and anticipation around here yesterday because it was "B" day: BREAK DAY. Our first mom to win a break? Jasmin Haley of Owings Mills. Thanks to the 2 Dreams Catering team, Jasmin was delivered one fabulous hot meal. On a Monday night. No weeknight meal rush for this momma last night.

Has the suspense been killing you? We are so excited to announce the first winner of our Give Mom a Break Contest!

We've partnered with Pampered Mommas to grant one mom a break every month, beginning this month! All through October, moms in and around Baltimore told us what break they could really use. A nap nanny. An in-home manicure. Something (anything!) cleaned. A load of laundry --  washed, folded AND ironed.

So today we are thrilled to announce that our first mom to nab a lucky break is JASMIN HALEY! Jasmin has a young baby at home (just two months old!) and a rambunctious toddler.  She's working part-time and her husband is working full time and going to school.
