Everyone was a rockin' a tutu at the Little Characters Party!

There was dancing, bottles of sunshine, boogie-ing, and milkshaking as the tutus descended on Wee Chic at Green Spring Station last night. All to celebrate the 2010 Little Characters! And, if that wasn't cause enough, to raise funds and awareness for the Face Forward Initiative.

More than 200 people came to hear the exclusive unplugged performance by Baltimore's own Lisa Mathews and Mikel Gehl, who lead the grammy-nominated music sensation Milkshake. A delicious spread was provided by MB Sweets Cupcakery, The Nut Farm and Creamery and Stone Mill Bakery. Sparkling lemonade for the little ones and champagne for the big "kids." And EVERYONE got in touch with the sweetness of childhood last night. If you weren't rocking out to to the music, you were rocking out to purple rock candy that made up the decor! Or the cupcakes. Or the creamy milkshakes (which were even more delightfully refreshing than usual since it was feeling more sauna-like than fall-like at this outdoor event!).

Check out Leslie's site!). And (cool) progeny debuted our NEW 'business card' pinwheels courtesy of Jessica at Earth Cookie Creations! We just love both of these businesses - - thanks ladies!

We had a wonderful time meeting all of the Little Characters and their parents, too. It was so nice to see everyone in 'person' after chatting with them via phone and email for our Little Character's profile piece!

Miss the party? No worries. Bridget Stickline, owner of Wee Chic and the fashionista behind the bash, has already started planning for next year's extravaganza!
