Fab Find: EtsyKids (If you love Project Runway, you'll LOVE this fun site for handmade kids stuff!)

I am an Etsy addict. Could surf the handmade goodness for hours. I virtually stumbled upon the ebay-like site for creators of handmade goods while pulling together Lila's nursery. Hence, there were several subsequent adrenaline-induced-verge-of-overwhelming-middle of the night shopping excursions through Etsy's online halls during that design adventure.

I continue to rely on Etsy for a lot of my gift giving, which is why I was stoked to find the EtsyKids blog! EtsyKids is a diverse group of talented and dedicated Etsy shop owners who specialize in handmade or handcrafted items for babies, toddlers and children. The blog is run entirely by volunteers and has wonderful tidbits and design challenges. It's like Project Runway meets the small-handcrafted-business-blog-world.

Currently, members of EtsyKids are offering great deals on their products in celebration of Universal Children's Day. You'll find discounts, BOGO offers, free shipping and or free-with-purchase promotions from more than thirty retailers. The promotions are good now through November 29th - - what a perfect excuse to get a little holiday shopping out of the way!

Some interesting finds? Gaddy Nipper Crayon's personalized crayons (Starts at $3 before promotion!), colors in Spanish poster from Grace Hester Designs, rag quilts from A Vision to Remember, vintage pint-sized dresses from Amelie Jo, dine 'n doodle chalk mats from Lil B Designs, and more!

So head on over, friend them on Facebook and get in on the savings! And don't forget to check out the current design challenge: peppermint swirls. Which design is your fav?
