(hot) dish: Christmas in Baltimore, Hon

Remember the famous line in Wedding Crashers: "Football and Crab Cakes - - that's what Maryland DOES!" Well, our friends from Milkshake just came up with the little tune that reminds us Christmas is definitely something Charm City DOES. And hon, we do it well.

Be sure to check out their newest tune, Christmas in Baltimore. The song mentions everything from the holiday light magic on 34th Street, to the Festival of Trees, to lighting up the Washington Monument in Mt. Vernon.

"Christmas has always been magical here and we celebrate the season with sights, sounds and a spirit that is uniquely Baltimore," the band announced in a press release.

Christmas in Baltimore... hey, ya know it's gonna be great.

Many thanks to Lisa, Mikel and the whole Milkshake gang for giving us a sneak listen -- we love it! If you're headed to the Festival of Trees today for one of their performances, we heard they'll be performing this song as part of their set! There will also be a companion video up on their facebook page soon!

Christmas In Baltimore will be available as a digital download release on iTunes and Amazon beginning November 30th, and included on a full-length holiday release from Milkshake in 2011.

Guess what's going on our 2011 Christmas list?
