(hot) dish: the flash sale sites have great 'get outta the house' deals today!

I love waking up to a good deal in my inbox. Especially when they help make visiting some of my favorite family-friendly places a little easier on my wallet.

Imagine my surprise when there were three fabulous deals I just had to share?

Have a little soccer fanatic in your house? Eversave Baltimore has a deal for $9 tickets to see the Baltimore Blast take on the Omaha Vipers on Friday, February 18th at 7:35 PM. You'll save $10 a ticket!

Rather take in a little art? LivingSocial has a deal today for admission to the American Visionary Art Museum. You can purchase admission for two adults for $16, or two adults and two children for $25. Plus, you'll get 10% off at gift shop. Even better? Children under 6 are always free. Don't forget to grab lunch at Mr. Rain's Funhouse and the regionally acclaimed exhibit, What Makes Us Smile. Did we mention the exhibit was co-curated by the creator of The Simpsons?

Groupon has a fantastic deal for admission to the Baltimore Museum of Science and Industry - - $5 a ticket (which saves you 50% a person!). Use the Groupon for admission to one of their Kids Can Sunday events (the second Sunday of every month) to make a family friendly craft. The BMI also has a preschool Wee Worker program each Tuesday at 10:30 AM. The program is free for kiddos, but $5 for each accompanying adult. We're kind of stoked about their upcoming Architectural Confectionary Contest on February 12th. Famous city landmarks and buildings made out of local sweets (think Berger Cookies). Lots of fun!

(cool) tip: Eversave also has a great deal for Brighter Beginnings Toys going on today, too! $15 for $30 worth of educational toys and products from famous brands such as Melissa & Doug, Brain Quest, and Klutz.
