wednesday's find: rileyroos

If only they came in my size.

I {{heart}} these adorable Rileyroos Boots (Cater style) that the Bug has been sporting for the last two weeks. Cozy and snug, these soft boots kept her toes warm on our recent eight day trek to chilly Chicago. While I wouldn't recommend these for snow trenching (they're a soft shoe with a rubber padded sole - not necessarily the most water proof), they are great for inside, trips to Grandma's house, or dry outside surfaces. They successfully passed a 'digging for dinosaurs in rubber mulch' test at the Chicago Children's Museum, too. Not that we were too scientific about it...

Did I mention how cute they look with a skirt?

We did almost loose one when the Bug went racing and swinging through the airport. The left one came flying off as she ran around. Other than that, it's a truly solid shoe for emerging walkers. Extra bonus? Machine washable. That came in handy when I found a handful of mac 'n cheese stuffed into the toe. Don't ask how. I have no idea.
