counting baltimore and craft fun - TODAY!

My sincerest apologies for not getting you this announcement sooner or for getting a weekend picks post up this week. Things have been more than a little nutty in the (cool) progeny household... The good news? Our regularly scheduled blog posting resumes next week!

Our friend Puck from duoporess will be at the The Falls in Mt. Washington TODAY at 3:00 PM for a book signing of 123 Baltimore and a craft project from The Painting Workshop! We love 123 Baltimore, the board book that takes your baby on a "charmed" counting trip of our own Charm City! You can read more about the book in our February interview with Puck.

We haven't had a chance to check out The Painting Workshop yet, but are dying too. With two locations (Mt. Washington and Reisterstown), The Painting Workshop offers a series of classes for families. Everything from Mommy and Me art classes, to Art Play, Yoga and more! Look for more about this local gem in future posts.

20% of the book sales will go to Movable Feast, a wonderful -local- organzation that provides life sustaining nutrition to those living with HIV/AIDS and breast cancer in the Greater Baltimore Area.
