Mary Sue Candies Bunny BonanZoo: The Easter Bunny has left some eggs behind at the Zoo! Join the Zoo family as we celebrate the holiday with this annual festival, complete with games, crafts, live entertainment, food and free egg hunts. Each child that participates in an egg hunt can redeem their found eggs for Mary Sue chocolate eggs! Catch the egg-citement Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 2 PM.

Ride the Rails with the B&O Easter Bunny: Hop on board the train and take a round-trip ride with the B&O’s Easter Bunny for a special treat. Scheduled train ride times for these two days are at 11 a.m., 1 & 3 p.m. Children may have their photograph taken with the B&O Bunny at Dr. Coupler’s Railroad Photorium.

Who Wants to Be an Urban Farmer? Join staff from Real Food Farm and Sunnyside Farm for Who Wants to be an Urban Farmer?, a morning of how-to workshops on practical skills for food production in the city. This event is Saturday, April 23 at Real Food Farm in Clifton Park and topics will include: vermiculture & composting, microgreen cultivation, backyard chickens, as well as kid-friendly activities throughout the morning. Register at 9:30, workshops 10 a.m. to noon. Suggested donation of $5-$15; families welcome; rain or shine; supplies, produce, and plant starts available for sale. The Great Cloth Diaper Change: Soft and Cozy Baby and Green Spring Diapers are excited to host "The Great Cloth Diaper Change" here in Baltimore at Hoppin Tots Children's Gym on Saturday! This event is to set a Guinness Book world record of the most simultaneous cloth diaper changes. Pre-registration is required. We'll have a guest post about the event next week!

Natural Egg Dying: Go hunt for eggs in the "wild" and then return to the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center to use natural materials to color and decorate our eggs. Bring a dozen boiled eggs and wear clothes that you don't mind getting colorful.

Family Fun Day at Loyola Men's Lacrosse: Men's lacrosse final home game of the season! Come out to thank our seniors and cheer them on against Hobart. Kids wearing any team jersey (football, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, pro, rec, college--doesn't matter!) gets in FREE!! Pre-game there is interactive inflatables, temporary tattoos, and poster making all FREE!! After the game stick around to meet the players and get their autographs on the field.

Easter Egg Hunt at Hawk's Hill Creamery: Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23rd. They open at noon, close at 6. The hunts will start at 1:00, for ages 1 to 11. Lots of farm fun, hayrides... FREE admission but tickets for egg hunt are $1. Bring your own basket for eggs! Local churches, schools, Girl Scouts and Lyme Disease Support Group and other farms also participating.

DBFA 4th Annual Patterson Park Easter Egg Hunt: As part of their mission to connect families to one another and make Baltimore a place where families thrive, DBFA--in partnership with Friends of Patterson Park and Gallery Church of Baltimore--brings you the 4th Annual Egg Hunt in Patterson Park. Save the date for April 23, 2011, from 10 a.m. to noon for a morning of egg hunts, snacks, activities, and fun! This is a candy- and nut-free event open to all children of downtown Baltimore. FREE!

Rainy Day Green Activities at Irvine Nature Center: It’s raining, it’s pouring! Prepare for April showers with eco-friendly ideas for rainy days. We’ll create natural play dough, recycle old crayons and turn magazines into jewelry or coasters. Bring broken crayons and old magazines to use in our craft projects. All ages, free for members, $10 non-members.
