Lanterns of Hope Parade and Cherrybration! Let your light shine during CHERRYBRATION DAYS' "LANTERNS OF HOPE" luminary parade on Friday night. Join the community and create a sparkling river of light through beautiful Historic Ellicott City at sunset. The fun continues on Saturday in downtown Ellicott City, including children activities, living history, street performers and musicians. The Friends of the Patapsco Female Institute will host a family picnic and archeological dig on the grounds of the historic site! Towsontown Spring Festival: Sponsored by the Towson Chamber of Commerce, this is one of the area's largest street festivals. The Towsontown Spring Festival features the standard lineup of attractions, including beer gardens, hundreds of vendors, face painting and pony rides for kids, and local bands on a few different stages. The Fair runs from 10 AM-7 PM on Saturday, April 30th and 1- 7 PM on Sunday, May 1st.

ROAR for Autism: On May 1, 2011, Kennedy Krieger will once again ROAR to break the silence surrounding autism at Oregon Ridge Nature Center. You can make your voice heard by joining us for a bike ride, nature walk and a festival that will help raise much-needed funds for autism research at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
