The baby pool had a ramp that went from, well -- no water -- to 2 ft. The Bug could definitely stand without her "pumpkin suit" on, but I was more comfortable leaving her in it. It gave her a bit of independence and kept her from tiring quickly. Feeding into the water was a giant water works with turning wheels and shower heads. The Bug was in heaven.
Our biggest issue? We had grand plans of going to the pool from 4 PM to 6PM, and then coming home for dinner. Little did we know that the pool closes from 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM, so when we arrived at 4:10 PM they suggested we wait until 5:00 PM. Ever have to stand with two toddlers peering through the iron face watching all of the other kids play in the water? Pure torture. Luckily, there was an Italian Ice stand outside of the pool gates that eased the waiting a bit.
Lots of fun! And $3.00 (it cost $1.50 for each of us to be admitted) well spent.

(cool) tip: Have you "liked" Baltimore Recreation and Parks on Facebook yet? It's a great way to keep up with news about all of the recreational facilities in the city and special events, including the city’s six large park pools, 13 walk-to pools, 20 wading pools and three indoor pools.
