announcing our next playdate! get up and MOVE

It's the announcement you've all been waiting for... our NEXT PLAY DATE! We're thrilled to announce that we're partnering with the Crohns and Colitis Foundation for their 2011 Take Steps Walk on June 25, 2011 at 5:00 PM!

Time to get up and move, friends.

What does this mean? We're looking for a few Charm City Families to grab their well-conditioned sneakers and strollers for a 3-mile jaunt through Federal Hill State Park. No training required. Just a whole lotta enthusiasm to raise awareness for this fantastic cause. And I'm not kidding about the no training. Don't feel like you need to be in marathon (or half marathon or even 5K) shape for this -- we're out to have fun. Might even be dancing our way through three miles. Who knows??

Not familiar with the Crohns and Colitis Foundation? One in every 200 Americans suffer daily with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Throughout the year, Take Steps enables patient families to join together with their local community to build visibility and awareness about these digestive diseases while raising critical funds.

Sound like something you can get on board with? Yeah, us too.

Each participating play date family will receive a goodie bag stuffed by area family-friendly businesses after the walk (partner list coming soon!). Post-walk celebration includes fun brought to you by our friends at aMuse Toys, music and food.

Moon Bounce, balloon art, crafts, sand art and bubbles. Score.

Plus EVERY participant gets noise makers and maracas. This is our kind of party!
Because we're hoping to help the Chrons and Colitis Foundation raise funds to help patient families, we're asking that each family participating in this play date to contribute $25 to the Foundation upon arrival at the walk. It's not required - - just requested.

You can also make donations to the walk at either aMuse Toys location (Fells Point or Quarry Lake) now through June 25th!
