It's here! Play Date weekend is here! Lots of fun stuff happening this weekend.... here are our top picks. For a full listing, check out our calendar.

(cool) progeny Get Up and MOVE Play Date: This Saturday in Federal Hill Park! You'll need your favorite sneakers and a stroller for this play date -- a benefit for the Chron's and Colitis Foundation, Maryland Chapter. We'll be walking 2 miles in their annual Taking Steps walk (it's a leisurely walk, no training required!) and then playing in Federal Hill. Food, music, crafts, moonbounce, balloon hats and more...

Kids Creativity Workshop at Green Spring Station:
Green Spring Station will host its annual Kids Creativity Workshop on Saturday, June 25 from noon to 3 pm. Kids of all ages are invited to participate in this fun-filled, creative afternoon that will feature art, cooking, crafts and other activities sure to bring out the creative side in everyone. You'll get to play with Urban Farmhouse, Charm City Kids Club, and Chesapeake Cupcake Company.

17th Annual Baltimore Regional Toddler Fair:
Head over to The Montessori School in Lutherville on Saturday from between 10 AM and 2 PM. Toddlers will have the chance to ride ponies and see an amazing reptile display. A real fire truck, balloon sculpture, gymnastics demonstrations, interactive music programs and puppet shows are scheduled throughout the day. Parents will also have the opportunity to learn about goods and services that are offered for families with toddlers in the Baltimore area. Exhibitors include those who provide educational toys, children’s recreational activities, preschools and day care facilities, handcrafted products for toddlers and services for families with young children. The event is free of charge and is open to the public

The Very Hungry Caterpillar at Irvine Nature Center:
What’s a butterfly baby? Where can we find one? Learn all about the life of a butterfly, inspired by Eric Carle’s colorful and classic tale. Examine real butterflies and search for more on the trails. A butterfly art project and story wraps up our afternoon of fun. All ages! The metamorphosis takes place on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

The Reggie Turns 6: ... And there's FREE Admission all weekend!
Celebrate the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History’s 6th anniversary with fun-filled activities and programs that highlight the museum’s exhibitions. Free admission all weekend!

Latino Fest: Get grooving over in Patterson Park this weekend!
Baltimore’s Premiere Celebration of Hispanic Culture, Music and Art: Join EBLO at our 31th annual festival. This music filled weekend features live Latin music including salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, reggaeton, duranguense, mariachi, dancers in colorful costumes from their native lands, bomba and plena performances, salsa dancing and the hottest Latino DJs, Arts and Crafts displays, Latino cuisine from the Americas and the Caribbean, community support information booths and family fun activities such as rock climbing walls, clowns, face-painting, two stages, and much more.

8th Annual PDVA Ride for Life: Have a horse lover in your family? This event might just be for you!
An annual equestrian tradition, the PVDA Ride for Life attracts top riders from the United States and abroad. Our participants have included Olympic riders and national and international champions. The USDF and USEF sanctioned two-day show hosts approximately 200 horses each year. Special children's activities on Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM. Benefits Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center.

Green Trading Post: The Green Trading Post is a natural children’s consignment event held in Mt. Washington. We are the place to find bargains on gently-used cloth diapers, baby carriers, clothes, great toys, books, videos, equipment, feeding supplies, and nursery furniture. This Sunday from 9 AM - 10:00 PM, and Monday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. (Many items will be 50% off on Monday -- if they're still available!)
